Excellent. I love seeing a nice big fish getting released. Their confusion is soothing for some reason.

This fish was out of the water for small moments at a time. I use a big rubber net (easy on the slime-coat)and use it as a livewell, doing as much of the unhooking and measuring as possible while the fish is slightly submerged. The water temp was 32.4 degrees that morning, and this old grandad of a fish didn't have much fight left in him. He had infected teeth in his mouth and I'm sure he was towards the end of his life before I caught him.

Looks like a ferox with the head out of proportion to the body.
