on ebay i bought a picco z for 11 pound including p&p and it flys really well if your heli cpoter is not launching so you cant trim it launch it out of your hand then trim it :) nice vid

Getting it stable is one thing... how do I make it fly forward? Do I need to tape paperclips to the front ?

What's with all these people saying it just spins outta control? Did you take a blow to the head? Get it up to about 1m off the ground, wild oscillations or not, and adjust the trim until it works. I mean... seriously. If the tail spins counter-clock, adjust right, if it spins clockwise... wait for it... adjust left. Easy. Might wanna check no pet or girlfriend hair is wrapped arounf the axle of the rotor too. I was feelig retarded too until I sat down, thought about it and checked the axle.

Yes way and unless you consider 1/4inch far away the Lipo is pretty close to the nose. If you really need the extra weight on the nose, insert the screw/clip/what ever from the bottom pointing up at the very tip. Puncturing a lipo is VERY dangerous. At the very least it will kill the battery, and if you do puncture it & try to charge it, the pack will expand until it ruptures and spit out a ball of fire. I to denied it at 1st but this is very real. See for your self, search LiPo Fire on youtube.

mine just hovered up spining out of control... i twisted the tail and now all it does is just spin on the floor and does not lift... any ideas?feel like i have just wasted my money :(

How the hell do these people get them fly properly?Mine flies wildly out of control as soon as it leave the ground.The oppertunity to adjust the trim never happens as as soon as its airborne its off usually crashing into a wall or something?I'm aware most newbies over control the heli and are heavy on the controls, but even when I'm using the lightest of touches its just impossible???? |
