man if you want to learn some good tech on slap/pop, might I suggest Marcus Miller....watch his live video for the song "POWER" he's badass and learning his stuff will GREATLY improve your slap skill

Jeez...I just stopped using a pick so I can fingerpick,and it is coming along,but I need to develop strength in my picking fingers.The next step for me will be "slapping and popping",which I usually shy away from because I suck at it...Thanks for posting some of Victors advice . This helps a Whole lot ! This guy is very talented,between he and Jaco,I have a lot to learn !
